Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and maintain compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants to improve financial reporting processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through data analysis and variance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables), and ERP systems
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
