Responsibilities
- Execute the weekly and monthly closing processes with precision and attention to detail.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Manage and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with the full-time accounting team to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
