Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct client consultations to identify tax planning opportunities and optimize tax liabilities.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax laws to ensure strict compliance.
- Utilize tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries) to manage large volumes of client data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complex tax inquiries efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tax software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during tax season.
