Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic planning advice to minimize tax liabilities
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure compliance with IRS regulations and tax codes
- Lead tax compliance projects for multi-state operations and international entities
- Develop and maintain internal tax process documentation and workflow optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Deep knowledge of IRS regulations, GAAP, and state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess)
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong client communication and presentation abilities
