Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with precision
- Provide exceptional financial guidance and product recommendations to members
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and daily transaction records
- Resolve account inquiries and escalate complex issues to management
- Actively promote credit union services through digital banking tools
- Uphold strict security protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate with branch team to achieve monthly sales targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency with banking software and digital platforms
- Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks
- Familiarity with BSA/AML regulations and compliance procedures
