Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-month-end accounting cycles including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage multi-currency transactions and international tax compliance for UK/EU operations
- Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Mentor junior accountants and implement continuous process improvements
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and HMRC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in multinational environments
- Expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in managing remote teams and virtual collaboration tools
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
