Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting cycles for 15-20 SME clients using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare statutory financial statements and UK tax returns (VAT, Corporation Tax)
- Lead month-end closing processes with accuracy rates exceeding 99.5%
- Conduct forensic financial audits and variance analysis for high-value accounts
- Develop automated financial reporting workflows using Power BI and Excel
- Mentor junior accountants through virtual training sessions and knowledge sharing
- Advise clients on cash flow optimization and tax efficiency strategies
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Proven expertise in UK tax legislation and GAAP compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and cloud accounting platforms
- Experience managing remote teams and asynchronous workflows
- Exceptional data visualization skills with Power BI/Tableau
- Relevant degree from a UK-accredited institution or equivalent
- US GAAP familiarity (for Louisville, KY market alignment)
