Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank accounts
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for Louisiana-based clients
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to federal/state financial regulations
- Develop and implement budget forecasting models
- Leverage QuickBooks Online and Xero for financial data management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in US GAAP and Louisiana tax regulations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Remote work experience with proven time management
