Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct comprehensive financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop detailed budget forecasts and variance analysis reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead tax preparation processes for individuals and small businesses
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of professional experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit (required for senior roles)
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Xero/NetSuite a plus)
- Proven track record managing multi-client accounting portfolios remotely
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial data
- Strong communication abilities for client consultations and report presentations
