Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for departmental and organizational initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Support tax preparation activities and maintain organized financial documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage multi-currency transactions and international accounting practices
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
