Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse clients including AR/AP, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Implement and optimize accounting systems using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for portfolio clients
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate and individual clients
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Develop financial models for business forecasting and strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-size firm
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven experience managing remote accounting teams and client relationships
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial concepts
- Experience in SaaS or technology industry accounting preferred
