Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, CA labor laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and year-end reconciliation
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate payroll records and implement controls
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Expertise in CA labor laws and FLSA compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR
- PHR/SPHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven track record in payroll audit resolution
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
