Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws and labor regulations
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end forms (W-2, 1099)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile payroll accounts
- Support HR initiatives on employee compensation and benefits
- Document payroll processes and maintain confidential employee records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP or equivalent HCM system
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and NC state labor regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancies
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Business required
