Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees with 100% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Administer benefits deductions and retirement plan contributions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for management and auditors
- Implement payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Train payroll staff on new procedures and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- ADP Workday or SAP certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and state wage laws
- Advanced Excel skills and HRIS proficiency
- CPP or FPC certification highly desirable
- Experience with multi-state payroll compliance
