Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including WI DWD requirements
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end forms (W-2s, 1099s)
- Act as primary payroll support for employee inquiries and resolution of discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related projects and system improvements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll software
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, WI unemployment)
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPP preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data validation
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial data
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancies and audits
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
