Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings per federal/state regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with P&L statements
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2s, 1099s) and support audit processes
- Implement payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Train junior payroll staff on compliance procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS regulations, and Virginia state labor laws
- Proficient in Excel with advanced formula usage (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant certification (CPP preferred)
- Proven record of 100% payroll accuracy with zero audit findings
