Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/year-end reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with employees
- Optimize payroll workflows using Excel macros and process automation
- Train junior payroll staff on system operations and compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- BS in Accounting/Finance or relevant certification (CPP preferred)
- Proven experience with time & attendance systems and HRIS
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive financial matters
