Global Financial Solutions Inc. is seeking a meticulous Senior Payroll Clerk to manage payroll operations for 500+ employees across 12 states. As a key member of our payroll department, you'll ensure accurate and timely compensation delivery while contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now for bi-weekly pay cycles
- Calculate and garnish wages for child support, taxes, and deductions
- Manage time and attendance data integration with Kronos system
- Prepare year-end W-2s and 1099 forms for 500+ employees
- Conduct payroll audits to ensure FLSA and IRS compliance
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement quarterly payroll tax filings via EFTPS
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and state labor regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience with garnishment calculations and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
