Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for portfolio valuation, risk assessment, and strategic forecasting
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry performance to inform investment strategies
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize capital allocation and identify growth opportunities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives on process automation using Python and advanced Excel techniques
- Conduct ad-hoc financial investigations and due diligence for potential acquisitions
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) and valuation methodologies
- Expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Python for financial data analysis and automation
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations and GAAP/IFRS accounting standards
- Proven track record of presenting complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Certification in financial analysis (CFA, FRM) or relevant technical certification
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and analytical rigor
