Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
- Lead month-end and quarter-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance
- Prepare executive presentations highlighting key financial trends and KPIs
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and risk assessment
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or investment settings
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and accounting software
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Energy sector experience highly desirable
