Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for executive leadership
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and cost management
- Prepare detailed presentations highlighting key financial insights and trends
- Lead cross-functional projects related to process improvement and financial system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for maritime finance sector
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience with industry-specific knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and variance analysis
- Excellent communication abilities for translating complex data to stakeholders
- Proven track record of process optimization and financial reporting
- Experience in maritime, defense, or logistics industries highly desirable
