Responsibilities
- Build complex financial models for M&A transactions, capital raises, and investment valuations
- Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions
- Prepare executive-level presentations and financial reports for board meetings and investor briefings
- Lead due diligence processes for target companies, assessing financial health and operational efficiency
- Develop cash flow projections and scenario analyses for portfolio companies
- Collaborate with portfolio management teams to optimize capital allocation strategies
- Maintain and enhance financial databases using advanced Excel and Power BI tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) and valuation methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills including macros, VBA, and Power Query
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting and GAAP/IFRS standards
- Demonstrated experience with market research platforms (Bloomberg, Capital IQ)
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Proven track record of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
