Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to department heads
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve cost efficiency and operational performance
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Manage financial reporting compliance with SOX and GAAP standards
- Mentor junior analysts and enhance team analytical capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in regulated industries
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial software (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
- Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights
- CMA or CPA certification highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
