We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, for the weekend shift operations.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with high precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and operational budgets.
- Conduct internal audits and financial controls reviews to mitigate risk.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Collaborate with the regional finance team to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in our ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience working in a weekend shift or non-traditional work schedule.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
