Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts with variance reporting
- Lead statutory financial reporting and audit coordination processes
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and compliance frameworks
- Oversee VAT returns and tax compliance submissions
- Manage month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Provide financial forecasting and budgeting support
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in financial accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA knowledge preferred
- Proven experience with SAP/Oracle ERP systems
- Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading audit processes and regulatory compliance
- Attention to detail with problem-solving aptitude
