Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations for public clients
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax and audit teams for seamless reporting cycles
- Mentor junior accounting staff on technical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with public companies
- Expertise in GAAP, SEC filings, and complex reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Oracle NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
