Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for senior leadership
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Develop and maintain robust credit scoring models and analytical frameworks
- Present complex financial findings through clear executive reports and presentations
- Stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking or lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, risk management principles, and credit policies
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or equivalent designation required
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
