Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for diverse client portfolios
- Process invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams for accurate revenue recognition
- Generate monthly billing reports and analyze aging accounts
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA/FERPA)
- Train junior staff on billing systems and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Meditech, or SAP)
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding (healthcare preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) certification a plus
