Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flow projections, and credit risk profiles for commercial and industrial clients
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations for loan approval
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions while maintaining portfolio quality
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential delinquency
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk in Central Valley
- Lead credit committee presentations and defend analytical conclusions to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics required; MBA or CFA designation preferred
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with a focus on SBA and traditional lending
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and credit risk assessment tools
- Deep understanding of GAAP, loan covenants, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven track record of managing credit portfolios with minimal losses
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder presentations
