Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and credit metrics to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval/modification
- Monitor existing portfolios for early risk detection and compliance adherence
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions for clients
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contribute to process improvements
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial lending or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks (e.g., Basel III, OCC guidelines)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Experience with remote work and digital collaboration tools
