Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess credit risk
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk ratings for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with lending policies
- Present complex credit analyses to senior leadership and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage ratios
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with credit risk assessment software (e.g., Moody's RiskCalc)
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
