Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Calculate wages, deductions, and tax withholdings with 100% accuracy
- Manage garnishments, bonuses, and commission payments
- Prepare and file quarterly tax returns and year-end forms (W-2, 1099)
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and clients
- Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations and tax codes
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive data with absolute discretion
