Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial loan applications to determine creditworthiness and risk exposure
- Prepare detailed credit reports with financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and industry trend insights
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal financing solutions for clients
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and recommend remediation strategies for underperforming assets
- Ensure compliance with federal banking regulations and internal credit policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems and regulatory reporting platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending institution
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with financial modeling capabilities
- Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis, ratio analysis, and risk assessment frameworks
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex financial statements and industry-specific risk factors
