Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with commercial bankers to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay current on banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, FFIEC)
- Present findings to senior leadership with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA, or CMB) a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
