Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs adhering to federal regulations (FINRA, SEC, CFPB)
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits for financial products and services
- Advise leadership on regulatory changes impacting fintech operations
- Manage compliance reporting and documentation requirements
- Lead cross-functional training on compliance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with legal team on regulatory responses and investigations
- Stay updated on emerging compliance technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services or fintech
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or CCEP designation preferred
- Deep understanding of California financial regulations
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate, MetricStream)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to manage complex compliance projects
