Your Key Responsibilities
As our Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. Your daily tasks will include:
Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform accurate monthly bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Process weekly payroll for all staff members, ensuring tax compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and accruals.
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Reconcile credit card statements and handle petty cash management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with payroll processing and sales tax filings is a plus.
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
