Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including sales and purchase ledgers.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with VAT returns and year-end accounts preparation for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Maintain accurate financial records in [Xero/QuickBooks] software and assist with month-end close processes.
- Process invoices, expenses, and assist with payroll reconciliation.
- Produce accurate financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
Qualifications
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT Level 4, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role within the UK finance sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
