Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure GAAP compliance
- Coordinate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable aging reports and collection processes
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for all bookkeeping functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUPs)
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations
- Proven track record of month-end closing within 5 business days
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations
