Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ SME clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable with weekly reconciliation
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and VAT submissions
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks/Sage systems
- Conduct financial audits and variance analysis
Qualifications
- AAT Level 4/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years UK bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions
- Certification in Xero or Sage preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
