Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client entities using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate with CPA firms for tax filings and audits
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Reconcile complex bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and cash management
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP/Payroll) and sales tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Proven experience with financial reporting for non-profits and tech startups
