In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our clients' financial health through meticulous record-keeping and insightful reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely transaction recording.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and supporting documentation.
- Process payroll for multiple clients using automated payroll systems.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Communicate complex financial data to clients and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
