Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and manage year-end accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of management accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
- Process invoices, expenses, and credit control activities efficiently.
Qualifications
- Level 3 AAT qualification or equivalent professional accounting experience.
- Proven experience using Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
