Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations with zero-error tolerance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing and payroll coordination
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems with cloud-based solutions
- Conduct tax preparation support and compliance documentation
- Provide financial insights through variance analysis and budget forecasting
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex financial discrepancies
