Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Prepare and issue invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
