Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation processes
- Process payroll and ensure HMRC compliance
- Conduct VAT returns and support tax preparation activities
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior bookkeeping role
- Proven expertise with Xero and QuickBooks software
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
