Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 SME clients using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and payroll processing
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation and tax documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide proactive financial insights to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- ATT/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
- Excellent communication skills with financial fluency
