Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements with precise attention to detail
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Generate financial reports for stakeholders and support tax preparation processes
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks/Xero proficiency required)
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and ensure documentation readiness
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero accounting platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance and Texas financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and implement solutions
