- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 SMB clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings for California-based clients
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero)
- California payroll tax filing experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
