Your Role:
As our Senior Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting for our diverse client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and in compliance with California state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax documents, and year-end audits.
- Monitor cash flow and provide monthly financial reports to management.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filing (e.g., ADP, Gusto).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
