Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management systems
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Assist in annual audits and tax preparation documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with full-cycle accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) strongly preferred
